As a general rule, House Smart will not release any Personal Data to any entities not related to House Smart unless we first receive permission from you. The only exception to this is as follows: House Smart will provide information regarding your home's security system to Brinks Home Security to allow them to contact you regarding a free, no-obligation assessment of the security of your home. This is the only permitted exception, and it is allowed because House Smart's home inspectors are not trained in the field of home security. If you do not want your home security information provided to Brinks, please tell the House Smart representative who calls to confirm your appointment to ensure that this information is not communicated to them. Minors House Smart has no intention of collecting any personal data from individuals under eighteen years of age, nor will this web site be promoted to minors. Adults should be aware that House Smart's Privacy Policy will govern our use of personal data, but that information which is voluntarily given by anyone in chat sessions, email exchanges, bulletin boards or the like may be used to generate unsolicited mail. House Smart encourages all adults to instruct minors in their care in the safe and responsible use of their personal data while using the Internet.
